100-Night Sleep Trial

Every Helix mattress purchased at Elam’s Home Furnishings includes a 100-night comfort trial. This gives you plenty of time to experience the comfort and support of your new mattress.

14-Night Break-In Requirement

Because new mattresses need time to adjust, customers must sleep on their mattress for a minimum of 14 consecutive nights before requesting a comfort return.

Comfort Return Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a comfort return, your Helix mattress must meet the following standards:

Mattress Condition Requirements

• Stain-free and odor-free
• No signs of damage or misuse
• Must come from a smoke-free home

Required Photos

Please provide clear, dated photographs showing:

• The full top surface of the mattress
• All sides
• Tags or labels (if requested)
• Proof that the mattress is clean and stain-free

Elam’s Home Furnishings reserves the right to deny a comfort return if the mattress does not meet these condition requirements.

How the Comfort Return Process Works

Option 1: Return the Mattress to Elam’s

Customers may transport their mattress back to our store. After inspection, you will receive full in-store credit to reselect any new mattress.

• No refunds to cash or credit cards
• No price difference refunded if a less expensive mattress is chosen

Option 2: If You Cannot Transport the Mattress

1. Purchase your replacement mattress temporarily at full price.
2. Donate your original Helix mattress to a certified nonprofit or donation-approved organization.
3. Submit:
   • A copy of the official donation receipt
   • The organization’s name and contact information
4. Elam’s will verify the donation directly.
5. Once verified, we will issue a full refund for the original mattress.

If the donation cannot be confirmed, Elam’s cannot issue a refund.

Limit on Comfort Returns

Customers may complete up to three (3) comfort returns. After the third return, no further exchanges or comfort returns will be accepted under this program.

Exclusions

The Comfort Guarantee does not apply to:

• Stained, damaged, or odorous mattresses
• Mattresses exposed to smoke
• Improper use or storage
• Manufacturer defects (covered by Helix’s warranty)
