Elam's requires 25% down to place a special order, with the balance due before or upon delivery.
Lay-away:
Elam's requires 25% down on lay-away items up to 90 days.
Price Guarantee:
If you can find the same item for less elsewhere, Elam's will honor the competitor's price plus 10% of the difference. Proof of competitor's price is required.
Storage:
A 10% storage fee after 90 days will be applied to the items stored in Elam's warehouses. An additional 15% fee will be applied to any order that has been stored for one year. After one year, Elam's has the right to return the order to stock after attempting to contact the customer. Elam's will retain the full 25% storage fee on any furniture that has been returned to stock.

Englander and Simmons mattresses must be returned within the first ten days after purchase. All manufacture tags must be attached and the mattress must be free of stains to receive a full exchange. Tempur-pedic Returns:
Tempur-pedic charges $150.00 to return a mattress within 90 days. A full refund of the mattress price minus the $150 is refundable within Elam's 10-day return policy. A 25% restocking charge will be applied minus the $150 for a return after 10 days.*+
+All fabric protection and delivery charges are non-refundable.
*No items can be returned if cigarette odor or animal smell is present.
